At AirMaster Heating & Air in Lawrenceville GA, we’ve been providing top-notch heat pumps for our valued customers since 1993.
These HVAC systems collect and extract heat efficiently so energy costs can be reduced.
How Heat Pumps Work
Heat pump heating and cooling systems move hot air from the home in the summer and move hot air into the home during the winter. As a result, you can have year-round comfort from one system. Here’s the cycle of a pump system:
Through a heat exchanger, refrigerant that is circulating in the refrigerant loop heats up, and is converted to a gas.
-The outdoor compressor raises the pressure of the refrigerant and increases the temperature to an acceptable level.
-Through the condenser, the refrigerant is then released into the system for the home. It is through this connection that the refrigerant is cooled.
-As the refrigerant circulates more, the pressure is decreased via an expansion valve. This reduces the temperature, and the refrigerant is then converted back to a liquid form.
There are several types of pumps, including water sourced, air sourced and ground sourced. Water sourced and ground sourced heat pumps are also known as geothermal pumps. Even though all pumps are energy efficient, geothermal pumps are the most efficient, as they have less lift and require less energy for heating and cooling.
New Heat Pump Systems
At AirMaster Heating & Cooling, we offer a selection of energy efficient heat pumps. Our pumps come with both high energy efficiency rating for Heating Seasonal Performance Factor (HSPF) and Seasonal Energy Efficiency Rating (SEER). We’re always happy to do a free in-home inspection and quote. Just give us a call, and we’ll set up a convenient time to meet.
Our pumps come with excellent warranties, and all of our new system installations are always 100 percent guaranteed. We also provide an expert heat and cool load calculation to determine how many British Thermal Units (BTUs) your home needs for maximum efficiency and ultimate indoor comfort. Some of our systems are Energy Star certified and qualify for savings through federal and utility company programs. Our staff will be happy to let you know about all the latest programs.
